Restricted Information on portable computing devices, pdas, smart phones, laptops, usb thumb drives, CDs, DVDs,zip disks, floppy disks, or any other type of easily transportable storage must be stored in an encrypted state.

It is required that any restricted information stored on a portable device be a copy of original authoritative data. Any portable device used to collect sensitive or restricted informaiton must transfer that data to an approved repository daily.
